Chlorhexidine has an excellent antibacterial effect and also has a very high substantivity, which means that it stays where it should work for a long time. This is where the long-term effect of chlorhexidine comes from. Nevertheless, it makes sense to support this long-term effect. That is why there is a matching toothpaste, also with chlorhexidine and also with ADS – and free of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS): SLS affects the effectiveness of CHX. SLS is a controversial foaming agent that is found in almost all toothpastes. CURAPROX does without SLS.

Chlorhexidin hat eine ausgezeichnete antibakterielle Wirkung und verfügt zusätzlich über eine sehr hohe Substantivität, das heisst, es bleibt sehr lange dort, wo es wirken soll. Daher rührt der Langzeiteffekt des Chlorhexidins. Trotzdem macht es Sinn, diesen Langzeiteffekt zu unterstützen. Deshalb gibt es die passende Zahnpasta dazu, ebenfalls mit Chlorhexidin und ebenfalls mit ADS – und frei von Sodium Lauryl Sulfat (SLS): SLS beeinträchtigt die Wirkung von CHX. SLS ist ein umstrittenes Schäumungsmittel, das in fast allen Zahnpasten vorkommt. CURAPROX verzichtet auf SLS.
