SPAGULAX MUCILAGE PUR granular in metered sachets is a preparation recommended for the treatment of constipation.

Indications for use: Constipation, palliative care

Constipation is usually determined by slowed intestinal transit, which results in decreased frequency of bowel movements, which may appear dehydrated. The affected person will find it difficult to defecate. It is necessary to distinguish constipation caused by impaired stool development, the most frequent case and in connection with this delayed transit, from another type of constipation, called terminal or dyschezia, rather associated with difficulties in stool evacuation.

Directions for use and dosage:

Usually, the dosage is one sachet before or after each of the main meals.

La constipation est généralement déterminée par un transit intestinal ralenti, ce qui entraîne une diminution de la fréquence des selles, qui peuvent sembler déshydratées. Il faut distinguer la constipation causée par une altération du développement des selles, cas le plus fréquent et en relation avec ce transit retardé, d’un autre type de constipation, appelée terminale ou dyschezie, plutôt associée à des difficultés d’évacuation des selles.
