Porcelain figurine – Wild boar Arnošt

The wild boar has appeared in human culture since prehistoric times as a symbol of strength and courage. The heroes of the ancient epics proved their bravery in a duel with a dangerous boar; in mythology, the boar accompanied the gods. The symbol of the boar can be found in aristocratic coats of arms or city emblems. The sculpture of a wild boar made of high-quality white porcelain hand-decorated with gold or platinum is another small statuette from the workshop of Kamil Ježek, a master at Atelier JM Lesov.
