The history of air raids on Ústí nad Labem is cruel and absurd, even without the posing of autonomous nationalists. Cruel by the fact that only tens of minutes were enough to affect the lives of people in the city not only in April 1945, but for several decades. The bombing started a long-term “war” for apartments in Ústí. The history of the raids is absurd, because the mere destruction of a railway junction to prevent the movement of German troops has turned into the liquidation of the city center, although no one intended. The Nazis’ attitude towards the victims of the bombing was also absurd and cruel. They let the buried people in the cellars and shelters die, because priority was given to clearing the roads and repairing the tracks for the army.

Krutá a absurdní je historie náletů na Ústí nad Labem i bez pózování autonomních nacionalistů. Krutá tím, že jenom desítky minut stačily k tomu, aby ovlivnily život lidí ve městě nejen v dubnu 1945, ale na několik desetiletí. Bombardováním byla zahájena dlouhodobá „válka“ o byty v Ústí. Absurdní je historie náletů, protože pouhé zničení železničního uzlu, aby se zamezilo přesunu německých vojsk, se změnilo v likvidaci středu města, ač to nikdo nezamýšlel. Absurdní a krutý byl i postoj nacistů k obětem bombardování. Nechali umírat zasypané lidi ve sklepích a krytech, protože přednost mělo uvolnění cest a oprava kolejí pro průjezd vojska.
