Allergoval capsules with the active ingredient cromoglicic acid (also called sodium cromoglicate) are used for food allergies. Dosage and instructions for use:
Adults and adolescents from the age of 15 take 2 capsules Allergoval four times a day (corresponding to a total of 800 mg sodium cromoglicate). Children between the ages of two and fourteen receive one Allergoval capsule four times a day (equivalent to a total of 400 mg sodium cromoglicate).

For infants and toddlers between two months and two years of age, the daily dose is 20-40 mg / kg body weight. If possible, it should be administered in equal single doses before each meal. For this it may be necessary to distribute the contents of a capsule over several doses.

If necessary, the dose can be increased to 5 Allergoval capsules four times a day for adults, and to a maximum of 2 Allergoval capsules four times a day for children aged two to fourteen (corresponding to a total of 800 mg sodium cromoglicate). However, a daily dose of 40 mg / kg body weight should not be exceeded.

Allergoval Kapseln mit dem Wirkstoff Cromoglicinsäure (auch Natriumcromoglicat genannt) werden bei Nahrungsmittelallergien eingesetzt. Cromoglicinsäure ist ein Mastzellenstabilisator, der die Mastzellen unempfindlicher gegen die entzündungsauslösende Botenstoffe macht. Dosierung und Anwendungshinweise:
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab dem 15. Lebensjahr nehmen viermal täglich 2 Kapseln Allergoval (entsprechend insgesamt 800 mg Natriumcromoglicat) ein. Kinder im Alter von zwei bis vierzehn Jahren erhalten viermal täglich eine Kapsel Allergoval (entsprechend insgesamt 400 mg Natriumcromoglicat).

Bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern zwischen zwei Monaten und zwei Jahren beträgt die Tagesdosis 20-40 mg/kg Körpergewicht. Sie sollte möglichst in gleich großen Einzeldosen vor jeder Mahlzeit verabreicht werden. Hierzu ist es gegebenenfalls erforderlich, den Inhalt einer Kapsel auf mehrere Gaben zu verteilen.

Sofern erforderlich, kann die Dosis bei Erwachsenen auf viermal täglich 5 Kapseln Allergoval, bei Kindern im Alter von zwei bis vierzehn Jahren auf maximal viermal täglich 2 Kapseln Allergoval (entsprechend insgesamt 800 mg Natriumcromoglicat) erhöht werden. Eine Tagesdosis von 40 mg/kg Körpergewicht sollte jedoch nicht überschritten werden.
