This medicine is used to prevent asthmatic symptoms in mild, persistent (persistent) allergic and non-allergic asthma (level 2 of the asthma level scheme).
Note:
This medicine is not suitable for the treatment of acute asthma attacks.
Contraindication
This medicine must not be used
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to sodium cromoglicate.
Dosage of DNCG iso
Always use the inhalation solution exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is
At the beginning, it makes sense to use it 4 times a day.
The specified daily doses can be doubled and the frequency of use increased to 6 times a day.
After the therapeutic effect has been achieved, the dosage intervals can be gradually extended to the extent necessary to maintain freedom from symptoms.
In asthma therapy, sodium cromoglicate is only suitable for the prevention of asthmatic complaints, but not for the treatment of acute asthma attacks. A trial dose should be given for at least 4 weeks. The full effect is generally achieved after 2 – 4 weeks. A gradual dose reduction over 1 week is recommended.
Adults and children 4 times a day 1 ampoule each (2 ml solution contains 20 mg active substance). Can be used from the age of 2.
How long should you use Pediacrom Inhalation Solution?
Sodium cromoglicate is used as a long-term therapy for the prevention of asthmatic symptoms. The inhalation solution can only work properly if it is used regularly according to the doctor’s instructions.
The duration of the usage will be decided by the medicating doctor.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.
If you use more than you should:
There are no known symptoms of poisoning for sodium cromoglicate. Treatment is not necessary.
If you forget to use:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Please keep in mind that only regular use leads to the desired effect.
Effects of stopping treatment:
If you interrupt treatment, your symptoms may worsen or come back.

Indikation
Dieses Arzneimittel wird angewendet zur Vorbeugung asthmatischer Beschwerden bei leichtem persistierendem (anhaltendem) allergischen und nichtallergischem Asthma (Stufe 2 des Asthmastufenschemas).
Hinweis:
Dieses Arzneimittel ist für die Behandlung des akuten Asthmaanfalles nicht geeignet.
Kontraindikation
Dieses Arzneimittel darf nicht angewendet werden
wenn Sie überempfindlich (allergisch) gegenüber Natriumcromoglicat sind.
Dosierung von DNCG iso
Wenden Sie die Inhalationslösung immer genau nach der Anweisung an. Bitte fragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die übliche Dosis
Zu Beginn ist eine 4mal tägliche Anwendung sinnvoll.
Die angegebenen Tagesdosen können verdoppelt, die Anwendungshäufigkeit auf 6mal täglich erhöht werden.
Nach Erreichen der therapeutischen Wirkung können die Dosierungsintervalle schrittweise auf das zur Aufrechterhaltung der Symptomfreiheit erforderliche Maß verlängert werden.
In der Asthmatherapie eignet sich Natriumcromoglicat nur zur Vorbeugung asthmatischer Beschwerden, aber nicht zur Therapie akuter Asthmaanfälle. Eine Versuchsdosis sollte mindestens über 4 Wochen gegeben werden. Die volle Wirkung stellt sich im allgemeinen nach 2 – 4 Wochen ein. Eine schrittweise Dosisreduktion über 1 Woche wird empfohlen.
Erwachsene und Kinder 4mal täglich je 1 Ampulle (2 ml Lösung enthalten 20 mg Wirksubstanz). Einsatz bereits ab dem 2. Lebensjahr möglich.
Wie lange sollten Sie Pädiacrom Inhalationslösung anwenden?
Die Anwendung von Natriumcromoglicat zur Vorbeugung asthmatischer Beschwerden erfolgt als Langzeittherapie. Die Inhalationslösung kann nur richtig wirken, wenn sie regelmäßig nach den Angaben des Arztes angewendet wird.
Über die Dauer der Anwendung entscheidet der behandelnde Arzt.
Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung zu stark oder zu schwach ist.
Wenn Sie eine größere Menge angewendet haben als Sie sollten:
Für Natriumcromoglicat sind Vergiftungserscheinungen bisher nicht bekannt. Eine Behandlung ist nicht notwendig.
Wenn Sie die Anwendung vergessen haben:
Nehmen Sie nicht die doppelte Dosis, wenn Sie die vorherige Anwendung vergessen haben. Bedenken Sie bitte, dass nur eine regelmäßige Anwendung zur gewünschten Wirkung führt.
Auswirkungen, wenn die Behandlung abgebrochen wird:
Wenn Sie die Behandlung unterbrechen, können sich Ihre Beschwerden verschlechtern oder erneut auftreten.
