Dosage of WICK cough pastilles against dry cough with honey
Always use the medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
Adults: if necessary, two cough lozenges (equivalent to 14.66 mg dextromethorphan) every 4 – 6 hours; the maximum total daily dose is 12 lozenges (corresponding to 88 mg dextromethorphan).
Children from 6 to 12 years: if necessary, one cough lozenge (equivalent to 7.33 mg dextromethorphan) every 4 to 6 hours; the maximum total daily dose is 6 lozenges (corresponding to 44 mg dextromethorphan).
Duration of application
Do not use the medicine for more than 3-5 days without medical advice.
Even under medical prescription, the preparation should not be used for longer than 2-3 weeks.

If you use more than you should

Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die übliche Dosis:
Erwachsene: bei Bedarf zwei Husten-Pastillen (entsprechend 14,66 mg Dextromethorphan) alle 4 – 6 Stunden; die maximale Tagesgesamtdosis beträgt 12 Pastillen (entsprechend 88 mg Dextromethorphan).
Kinder von 6 – 12 Jahren: bei Bedarf eine Husten-Pastille (entsprechend 7,33 mg Dextromethorphan) alle 4 – 6 Stunden; die maximale Tagesgesamtdosis beträgt 6 Pastillen (entsprechend 44 mg Dextromethorphan).
Dauer der Anwendung
Wenden Sie das Arzneimittel ohne ärztlichen Rat nicht länger als 3 – 5 Tage an.

Wenn Sie eine größere Menge angewendet haben, als Sie sollten
Bei Überdosierung (mehr als 20 Lutschpastillen; bei Kindern mehr als 3 mg/kg KG) können Erregungszustände, Schwindelgefühl, Atemdepression (Atemhemmung), Halluzinationen, Bewusstseinsstörungen, Blutdruckabfall, Tachykardie (beschleunigte Herzschlagfolge), erhöhter Muskeltonus (Anspannung der Muskeln) und Ataxie (Störung der Bewegungen) auftreten.
Bei Verdacht auf eine Überdosierung ist sofort ein Arzt zu benachrichtigen.
Wenn Sie die Anwendung vergessen haben
Nehmen Sie nicht die doppelte Dosis ein, wenn Sie die vorherige Einnahme vergessen haben.
