Vision Defense by Swanson is a dietary supplement containing lutein, zeaxanthin and an antioxidant blend. Each capsule provides 104 mg of an antioxidant blend of standardized bilberry extract and vegetable cabbage seed extract.

Lutein contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and is not produced by the body, so it must be obtained from the diet or supplements. Zeaxanthin is a substance found in vegetables and fruits. Zeaxanthin is found in the lens and the retina of the eye, especially in the macula, which is responsible for visual acuity.

Ingredients: lutein, zeaxanthin, bilberry extract, vegetable cabbage extract, astaxanthin, sunflower oil, capsule shell: gelatin, humectant: glycerol, extra virgin olive oil, purified water, carrier: yellow beeswax, maltodextrin, sunflower lecithin, color: natural caramel, antioxidant: rosemary extract.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: One capsule a day. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a properly varied diet.
