The tradition of using the Reishi mushroom in Chinese medicine dates back about 4,000 years – Chinese healers were long aware of the existence of the Reishi mushroom. It is called in Asia the “mushroom of immortality”.

Reishi mushroom contains a lot of vitamins and minerals, including iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper, manganese and germanium. Particularly important in Reishi is the presence of the so-called polysaccharides (beta-glucans) and triterpenes.
