Active ingredients:
Porcine pancreas powder 150 mg
Triacylglycerol lipase 10000 PhEur-E.
Amylase 8000 PhEur-E.

Applications
Enzymes are obtained from the pancreas of pigs.
Capsules contain small granules with an enteric coating that slowly release pancreas powder into the intestines.
Capsules are used:
Digestive disorders (maldigestion) due to insufficiency or absence of pancreatic function (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency).
Cystic fibrosis to support insufficient pancreatic function.
How do capsules work?
The enzymes in this supplement digest food as it passes through the gastrointestinal tract. The capsules should be taken during or immediately after a meal or snack. This allows the enzymes to mix thoroughly with the food.

Dosage
For patients with cystic fibrosis
Children:
The dose of this drug may not be appropriate for starting therapy in children, depending on the age and weight of the child.
The doctor can determine the necessary dose for a child using dosage forms containing fewer lipase units.
After establishing the dose per meal, the drug can be used in children at this dose.
The usual starting dose for children under 4 years of age is 1000 lipase units per kilogram of body weight per meal.
The usual starting dose for children 4 years and older is 500 units of lipase per kilogram of body weight per meal.
Youth and Adults:
Weight-based enzyme dosing should begin with 500 units of lipase per kilogram of body weight per meal for adolescents and adults.
All Ages:
Your total daily dose should not exceed 2,500 units of lipase per kilogram of body weight per meal, or 10,000 units of lipase per kilogram of body weight per day, or 4,000 units of lipase per gram of fat consumed.
For Patients with Other Pancreatic Problems
Youth and Adults:
The usual dose per meal is 25,000 to 80,000 units of lipase (equivalent to 2 to 8 capsules).
The usual snack dose is half the meal dose.

Contraindications
The capsules should not be taken.
if you have a proven hypersensitivity to pork (pork allergy) or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
