Description
The metered spray is a cold remedy (rhinological agent, alpha-sympathomimetic).
The active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride has vasoconstrictor properties and thus reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.
The dosing spray is used
- to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in cases of a cold, intermittent runny nose (rhinitis vasomotorica) and allergic rhinitis (rhinitis allergica).
- to facilitate the drainage of secretions in cases of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and in cases of middle ear inflammation (catarrh of the Eustachian tube) in conjunction with a cold.
The dosing spray is intended for school children and adults.
