Rivanol ointment, 50 g

The preparation contains the active ingredient ethacridine lactate. It is a drug from the group of acridine derivatives with a broad antibacterial effect against wound infections (antiseptic). When applied locally, it inhibits the build-up of the bacterial wall and thus leads to the rapid death of a large number of pathogens.
It is used to reduce germs on the skin.

Das Präparat enthält den Wirkstoff Ethacridinlactat. Es ist ein Arzneimittel aus der Stoffgruppe der Acridinderivate mit einer breiten antibakteriellen Wirkung gegen Wundinfektionen (Antiseptikum). Es hemmt bei lokaler Anwendung den Aufbau der Bakterienwand und führt dadurch zum schnellen Absterben einer Vielzahl von Krankheitserregern.
Es wird angewendet zur Keimminderung auf der Haut.
