application areas
The drug is applied
with a strength of 20 mg
– to prevent the recurrence of inflammation of the esophagus caused by the reflux of gastric juice (prevention of recurrence of reflux esophagitis);
– to treat symptoms caused by stomach acid flowing back into the esophagus (symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease);
– to prevent the recurrence of ulcers in the stomach and duodenum caused by taking certain painkillers or anti-rheumatic drugs (so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
– to treat heartburn and acid regurgitation (over-the-counter 20 mg supplements).

with the strength 40 mg adults and adolescents from 12 years
– Reflux esophagitis. This is inflammation of the esophagus associated with the reflux of stomach acid.

Adults
– Infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori in patients with duodenal and gastric ulcers, in combination with two antibiotics (eradication therapy). The goal of this treatment is to kill the bacteria and reduce the chance of these ulcers recurring.
– stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers
– Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions that cause too much acid to be produced in the stomach.

Anwendungsgebiete
Das Medikament wird angewendet
mit der Wirkstarke 20 mg
– zur Verhinderung des Wiederauftretens einer durch Ruckfluss von Magensaft verursachten Entzundung der Speiserohre (Rezidivprophylaxe der Refluxosophagitis);
– zur Behandlung von Symptomen, die durch den Ruckfluss von Magensaure in die Speiserohre verursacht werden (symptomatische Behandlung der gastroosophagealen Refluxkrankheit);
– zur Verhinderung des Wiederauftretens von Geschwuren des Magens und Zwolffingerdarms, die durch die Einnahme von bestimmten Schmerz- bzw. Rheumamitteln bedingt sind (sogenannte nicht-steroidale Antiphlogistika).
– zur Behandlung von Sodbrennen und saurem Aufsto?en (rezeptfreie 20-mg-Praparate).

mit der Wirkstarke 40 mg Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren
– Refluxosophagitis. Dies ist eine Entzundung der Speiserohre, verbunden mit dem Ruckfluss von Magensaure.

Erwachsene
– Infektion mit dem Bakterium Helicobacter pylori bei Patienten mit Zwolffingerdarm- und Magengeschwuren, in Kombination mit zwei Antibiotika (Eradikationstherapie). Das Ziel dieser Behandlung ist es, die Bakterien zu vernichten und so die Wahrscheinlichkeit zu verringern, dass diese Geschwure erneut auftreten.
– Magengeschwure und Zwolffingerdarmgeschwure
– Zollinger-Ellison-Syndrom und andere Erkrankungen, bei denen im Magen zu viel Saure produziert wird.
