Recommended use of Mucosolvan cough drops 30mg / 2ml expectorant for coughs (pack size: 50 ml):

Children up to 2 years: only on medical advice
½ ml of the solution are taken twice a day (corresponding to 10 drops twice a day = 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).

Children from 2 to 5 years:
½ ml of the solution are taken 3 times a day (corresponding to 10 drops 3 times a day = 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).

Children from 6 to 12 years:
1 ml of the solution is taken 2 to 3 times a day (corresponding to 20 drops 2 to 3 times a day = 30 – 45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).

Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
As a rule, 2 ml of solution are taken 3 times a day during the first 2-3 days (corresponding to 3 times 40 drops = 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day), then 2 ml of solution are taken twice a day (corresponding to 40 drops twice a day = 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / Day).

In the case of the dosage for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age, the effectiveness can be increased by administering 4 ml of solution twice a day (corresponding to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).

Anwendungsempfehlung von Mucosolvan Husten-Tropfen 30mg/2ml Schleimlöser bei Husten (Packungsgröße: 50 ml):

Kinder bis 2 Jahre: nur auf ärztliche Anweisung
Es werden 2 mal täglich ½ ml Lösung eingenommen (entsprechend 2 mal täglich 10 Tropfen = 15 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).

Kinder von 2 bis 5 Jahren:
Es werden 3 mal täglich ½ ml Lösung eingenommen (entsprechend 3 mal täglich 10 Tropfen = 22,5 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).

Kinder von 6 bis 12 Jahren:
Es werden 2 – 3 mal täglich 1 ml Lösung eingenommen (entsprechend 2 – 3 mal täglich 20 Tropfen = 30 – 45 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).

Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren:
In der Regel werden während der ersten 2 – 3 Tage 3 mal täglich 2 ml Lösung (entsprechend 3 mal 40 Tropfen = 90 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) eingenommen, danach werden 2 mal täglich 2 ml Lösung (entsprechend 2 mal täglich 40 Tropfen = 60 mgAmbroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) eingenommen.

Bei der Dosierung für Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren ist eine Steigerung der Wirksamkeit gegebenenfalls durch die Gabe von 2 mal täglich 4 ml Lösung (entsprechend 120 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) möglich.
