Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
Acute treatment of headache from migraine attacks with and without aura
Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age take 2 tablets (equivalent to 1000 mg phenazone) for the acute treatment of headaches from migraine attacks with and without aura, possibly several times a day at intervals of 4 to 8 hours.
The maximum total daily dose should not exceed 8 tablets.
Insufficient knowledge is available for use in children and adolescents up to 15 years of age to be able to give a general dosage recommendation for the acute treatment of headaches in migraine attacks.
Mild to moderate pain
Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age use 1 – 2 suppositories (equivalent to 500 mg – 1000 mg phenazone), possibly several times a day at intervals of 4 to 8 hours.
The maximum total daily dose should not exceed 8 suppositories.
For use in children and adolescents up to 15 years of age, suppositories are not suitable due to the size of the suppositories due to the high content of active ingredients.
The dose should be reduced in old age, with reduced general condition and with impaired creatinine clearance or liver function, as the excretion of the metabolic products of the drug may be delayed. In these cases, the total daily dose should not exceed 3 suppositories (equivalent to 1500 mg phenazone).

Duration of application:
Medicinal products containing phenazone should not be taken for longer than 3-4 days without medical or dental advice.

If you take more than you should
Signs of overdose include tremors, seizures, blurred vision, rashes, and loss of consciousness. If you see any of these symptoms, contact a doctor immediately. If necessary, first aid measures must be initiated. Keep the airways free if unconscious.

If you forget to take a dose
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Erwachsene und Jugendliche uber 15 Jahre nehmen fur die Akutbehandlung der Kopfschmerzen von Migraneanfallen mit und ohne Aura 2 Tabletten (entsprechend 1000 mg Phenazon), evtl. mehrmals taglich in Abstanden von 4 bis 8 Stunden, ein.
Die maximale Tagesgesamtdosis soll 8 Tabletten nicht uberschreiten.
Fur die Anwendung bei Kindern und Jugendlichen bis 15 Jahre liegen keine ausreichenden Erkenntnisse vor, um eine allgemeine Dosierungsempfehlung zur akuten Behandlung von Kopfschmerzen bei Migraneanfallen geben zu konnen.
Leichte bis ma?ig starke Schmerzen
Erwachsene und Jugendliche uber 15 Jahre wenden 1 – 2 Zapfchen an (entsprechend 500 mg – 1000 mg Phenazon), evtl. mehrmals taglich in Abstanden von 4 bis 8 Stunden.
Die maximale Tagesgesamtdosis soll 8 Zapfchen nicht uberschreiten.
Fur die Anwendung bei Kindern und Jugendlichen bis 15 Jahre sind Zapfchen wegen der durch den hohen Wirkstoffgehalt bedingten Zapfchengro?e nicht geeignet.
Im hoheren Lebensalter, bei reduziertem Allgemeinzustand und bei eingeschrankter Kreatininclearance oder Leberfunktion sollte die Dosis vermindert werden, da die Ausscheidung der Stoffwechselprodukte des Arzneimittels verzogert sein kann. Die Tagesgesamtdosis sollte in diesen Fallen 3 Zapfchen (entsprechend 1500 mg Phenazon) nicht uberschreiten.

Dauer der Anwendung:
Phenazonhaltige Arzneimittel sollten ohne arztlichen oder zahnarztlichen Rat nicht langer als 3 – 4 Tage eingenommen werden.

Wenn Sie eine gro?ere Menge eingenommen haben, als Sie sollten
Anzeichen einer Uberdosierung sind Zittern, Krampfanfalle, Sehstorungen, Hautausschlage und Bewusstlosigkeit. Bei diesen Anzeichen wenden Sie sich sofort an einen Arzt. Gegebenenfalls sind Erste-Hilfe-Ma?nahmen einzuleiten. Bei Bewusstlosigkeit Freihalten der Atemwege.

Wenn Sie die Einnahme vergessen haben
Nehmen Sie nicht die doppelte Menge ein, wenn Sie die vorherige Einnahme vergessen haben.
