The medicine is a means of binding excess stomach acid.
It is used for the symptomatic treatment of diseases in which the stomach acid needs to be bound:
Heartburn and acid-related stomach problems,
Gastric or duodenal ulcers (gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer).
