Indications
Hydrosorb Gel, a sterile gel is intended for the treatment of chronic wounds, mainly deep, but also superficial, such as pressure ulcers, ulcers and wounds of other origin with little or almost dry exudate, in all stages of healing. It is recommended for softening necrotic tissue and for hydrating deep chronic wounds in the granulation phase.
The method of using the medical device
The wound should be rinsed with sterile Ringer’s solution or other suitable sterile solution. Then dry the skin around the wound.
Take the sterile three-syringe out of the package and remove the protective cap.
Holding the tip of the syringe away from the wound, cover the wound with about 5 mm of gel.
Apply a suitable secondary dressing to the wound.
To remove Hydrosorb Gel, rinse the wound with a sterile Ringer’s solution or other suitable sterile solution. Then dry the skin around the wound.
How often the dressing is changed depends on the wound.
It can stay on the wound for a maximum of 3 days.
The dressing should be changed if wound discharge is soaked in the secondary dressing.
Contraindications and precautions
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the product or one of its ingredients.
Do not use in third degree burns.
Any unused gel should be discarded.
The contents of the syringe cannot be used to treat several patients at the same time.
For external use only.
In case of wound infection, the patient should undergo a medical check-up every day and appropriate systematic treatment. The dressing should be changed according to the doctor’s recommendations. Treatment of an infected wound with Hydrosorb Gel may be continued under the supervision of a physician, following his recommendations.
Store at temperature from 5oC to 40oC.

Wskazania
Hydrosorb Gel, żel jałowy przeznaczony jest do leczenia ran przewlekłych, głównie głębokich, lecz także powierzchniowych takich jak odleżyny, owrzodzenia oraz rany innego pochodzenia o małym wysięku lub prawie suchych, we wszystkich fazach gojenia. Rekomendowany jest do zmiękczania tkanki martwiczej oraz do uwodnienia głębokich ran przewlekłych w fazie ziarninowania.
Sposób użycia wyrobu medycznego
Ranę należy przemyć sterylnym roztworem Ringera lub innym sterylnym roztworem nadającym się do tego celu. Następnie osuszyć skórę wokół rany.
Wyciągnąć sterylną trzykawkę z opakowania i usunąć kołpak ochronny.
Trzymając końcówkę strzykawki w pewnej odległości od rany pokryć ranę około 5-milimetrową warstwą żelu.
Na ranę nałożyć odpowiedni opatrunek wtórny.
Aby usunąć Hydrosorb Gel należy przepłukać ranę sterylnym roztworem Ringera lub innym sterylnym roztworem nadającym się do tego celu. Następnie osuszyć skórę wokół rany.
Częstotliwość zmieniania opatrunku zależy od rany.
Może pozostać na ranie maksymalnie 3 dni.
Należy zmienić opatrunek w przypadku nasiąknięcia opatrunku wtórnego wydzieliną z rany.
Przeciwwskazania i środki ostrożności
Nie stosować w przypadku nadwrażliwości na produkt lub jedną z substancji wchodzących w skład.
Nie stosować w oparzeniach III stopnia.
Nie zużyty żel należy wyrzucić.
Zawartość strzykawki nie może być wykorzystana w leczeniu kilku pacjentów jednocześnie.
Wyłącznie do użytku zewnętrznego.
W przypadku infekcji rany pacjent powinien codziennie poddawać się kontroli lekarskiej oraz odpowiedniemy systematycznemu leczeniu. Opatrunek należy zmieniać zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza. Leczenie rany zainfekowanej z wykorzystaniem Hydrosorb Gel może być kontynuowane pod nadzworem lekarza, stosowanie do jego zaleceń.
Przechowywać w temperaturze od 5oC do 40oC.
