Gaviscon Mint TAB is a medicinal product that creates a protective layer that prevents acid reflux from the stomach.
The active substances are sodium alginate (Natrii alginas), sodium bicarbonate (Natrii hydrogenocarbonas) and calcium carbonate (Calcii carbonas).
1 tablet contains 250 mg of sodium alginate, 133.5 mg of sodium bicarbonate and 80 mg of calcium carbonate.
Excipients: mannitol (E421), macrogol 20,000, copovidone, aspartame (E951), peppermint flavor, magnesium stearate and potassium acesulfame.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The usual dose of Gaviscon for adults and children over 12 years of age is 2 to 4 tablets if symptoms occur after meals and at bedtime.
Do not exceed 16 tablets a day.
