Fungicidine Medicinal ointment 10g

Dosage
Adults, adolescents and children in a very thin layer 2-3 times a day on the affected areas (skin, mucous membranes, vagina) until healing. The treatment should be continued even after healing for a few more days by applying the ointment only once a day.

Prevention
The active ingredient nystatin inhibits and stops the growth of yeasts and some other lower fungi. It is not absorbed from the surface of the skin and mucous membranes.

Contraindication
The ointment must not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to nystatin or to any of the excipients, especially lanolin.

Side symptoms
The ointment is usually well tolerated, but skin irritation may occur during treatment, resulting in redness or burning at the application site.

Dávkování
Dospělým, mladistvým i dětem ve velmi tenké vrstvě 2-3krát denně na postižená místa (kůže, sliznice, do pochvy) až do vyhojení. V léčbě je třeba pokračovat i po zhojení ještě několik dní nanášením masti jen 1krát denně.

Prevence
Účinná látka nystatin tlumí a zastavuje růst kvasinek a některých dalších nižších hub. Z povrchu kůže a sliznice se nevstřebává.

Kontraindikace
Mast se nesmí používat při známé přecitlivělosti na nystatin nebo jinou složku přípravku, zejména na lanolin.

Vedlejší příznaky
Mast je obvykle dobře snášen, během léčby však může dojít k podráždění kůže projeví se jako zarudnutí nebo pálení v místě nanesení.
