The book Crime in the West presents the activities of the Cheb gendarmerie search station during the first Czechoslovak Republic. It deals with the operation of the station in the period 1929-1937, ie the scope of activities and a description of the work of gendarmes in the search service. The highlight is the description of the most serious criminal cases in the area of Western Bohemia (ie the entire present KV region and parts of the Plán and Tachov regions), which the Cheb station investigated.
