Canifug, 50 g

The cream is a medicine used to treat fungal diseases (mycoses) of the skin and mucous membranes caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, molds and others, such as Malassezia furfur, and skin infections caused by Corynebacterium minutissimum.
These can occur e.g. B. in the form of:
Mycoses of the feet (athlete’s foot), between toes and fingers, on the nail fold (paronychia) also in connection with nail mycoses
Skin diseases that are additionally infected with Canesten-sensitive pathogens (superinfection)
Mycoses of the skin and skin folds, superficial candidiasis, pityriasis versicolor (bran fungus), infections with Corynebacterium minutissimum (erythrasma), seborrheic dermatitis only with microbial involvement or similar. Pathogen.
Infection of the labia and surrounding areas caused by yeast (candidal vulvitis); Inflammation of the glans penis and foreskin of men caused by yeasts (candida balanitis).
Clotrimazole, the active ingredient in the cream, penetrates the affected skin layers and attacks the fungus there. The result: the fungus dies or its growth is inhibited.

Die Creme ist ein Arzneimittel zur Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen (Mykosen) der Haut und Schleimhaut, verursacht durch Dermatophyten, Hefen, Schimmelpilze und andere, wie Malassezia furfur, sowie Hautinfektionen durch Corynebacterium minutissimum.
Diese können vorkommen z. B. in Form von:
Mykosen der Füße (Fußpilz), zwischen Zehen und Fingern, am Nagelfalz (Paronychien) auch in Verbindung mit Nagelmykosen
Hauterkrankungen, die mit Canesten-empfindlichen Erregern zusätzlich infiziert sind (Superinfektion)
Mykosen der Haut und Hautfalten, oberflächige Candidosen, Pityriasis versicolor (Kleienpilzflechte), Infektionen mit Corynebacterium minutissimum (Erythrasma), seborrhoischer Dermatitis nur bei mikrobieller Mitbeteiligung o. a. Erreger.
Infektionen der Schamlippen und angrenzender Bereiche, verursacht durch Hefepilze (Candida-Vulvitis); Entzündungen von Eichel und Vorhaut des Mannes durch Hefepilze (Candida-Balanitis).
Clotrimazol, der Wirkstoff der Creme dringt in die befallenen Hautschichten ein und greift dort den Pilz an. Die Folge: der Pilz stirbt ab oder wird in seinem Wachstum gehemmt.
