Camu Camu are red-purple berries from the Myrciaria dubia tree, which grows in the Amazon near water and naturally contains many nutrients, vitamin C and phytonutrients. The powder of these berries has a distinct, sharply sour lemon taste with a slightly exotic background. It is ideal for intensifying other flavors and as an ingredient in smothiees. It can also be used in exotic dressings, sauces, desserts, cakes, ice cream, sorbets and yoghurts.
