  The nystatin contained in this preparation acts specifically against infectious diseases caused by Candida albicans and other fungi. Nystatin binds to the cell membranes, inhibits growth and destroys the fungal cells.

  The medicine is used to treat skin infections caused by yeasts sensitive to nystatin, in particular to treat mycoses in the diaper area (diaper dermatitis).
