More than 41.5 million people worldwide had been infected with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This is reported by UNN with reference to The center for systems research and engineering at Johns Hopkins University (USA).

The countries with the greatest spread of the coronavirus are the USA (8 404 743), India (7 706 946), Brazil (5 298 772), Russia (1 453 923), and Argentina (1 053 650), France (1 041 991) and Spain (1 026 281).
The greatest number of deaths among the countries reported in the USA (223 000), Brazil (155 of 403) and India (116 616).
Recall, according to the latest data of the Ministry of health, more than 322 thousand patients with COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine. Over the past day, 7053 infected people were found, which is a new anti-record. As a result of the disease, 6043 people have died in the country as a whole, 116 of them per day. 134,898 people recovered, including 2,679 during the day.
The respiratory disease COVID-19, which is infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, was first recorded in the Chinese province of Hubei, at the end of 2019. Since then, infections with this virus have been recorded in 188 countries, including Ukraine. Since March 11, the world health organization has recognized the spread of the disease as a pandemic.
