Sodium diclofenac-based patches.
Therapeutic indications
Voltadol Patch is used in the local treatment of painful and inflammatory conditions of a rheumatic or traumatic nature of the joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods: The product should only be applied to intact and healthy skin and should not be applied when taking a bath or shower. The medicated diclofenac plaster must be used for the shortest possible time in relation to the indication for use.
Adults and adolescents aged 16 and over: Unless otherwise prescribed, apply a patch twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, on the skin of the area to be treated, for a period not exceeding 7-10 days. If no improvement is seen following the recommended treatment period, a physician should be consulted (see section 4.4). In adolescents aged 16 years and over, if this product is required for a treatment period exceeding 7 days for pain relief or if symptoms worsen, the patient or the adolescent’s relatives are advised to consult a physician. .
Children and adolescents under the age of 16: The use of this medicated plaster is not recommended in children and adolescents under the age of 16 because there are insufficient data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the medicine.
Elderly: This medicine should be used with caution in elderly patients as they are more prone to side effects
Patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency: For the use of medicated patches of diclofenac in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency
Cut the pouch along the dotted line and remove the patch. For applying the patch:
Remove one of the two protective sheets.
Apply on the part to be treated and remove the remaining protective sheet.
Apply light pressure with the palm of your hand until it adheres completely to the skin. The patch must be used whole.
To remove the patch:
Wet the patch with water and then lift a flap by pulling gently.
To eliminate any residues of the product, wash the affected area with water, making circular movements with your fingers.
Cerotti a base di diclofenac sodico.
Indicazioni terapeutiche
Voltadol Cerotto si usa nel trattamento locale di stati dolorosi e infiammatori di natura reumatica o traumatica delle articolazioni, dei muscoli, dei tendini e dei legamenti.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalita: Il prodotto deve essere applicato solo sulla cute intatta e sana e non deve essere applicato quando si fa il bagno o la doccia. Il cerotto medicato di diclofenac deve essere utilizzato per il piu breve tempo possibile in relazione all’indicazione d’uso.
Adulti ed adolescenti dai 16 anni in su: Salvo diversa prescrizione medica applicare un cerotto 2 volte al giorno, al mattino ed alla sera, sulla cute della zona da trattare, per un periodo non superiore a 7-10 giorni. Se non si riscontra un miglioramento a seguito del periodo di trattamento raccomandato, si dovra consultare un medico (vedere paragrafo 4.4). Negli adolescenti di eta pari o superiore ai 16 anni,se questo prodotto e necessario per un periodo di trattamento superiore ai 7 giorni per il sollievo del dolore o se i sintomi peggiorano, si consiglia al paziente o ai parenti dell’adolescente di consultare un medico.
Bambini e adolescenti al di sotto dei 16 anni: L’impiego di questo cerotto medicato non e raccomandato nei bambini e negli adolescenti di eta inferiore ai 16 anni perche non sono disponibili dati sufficienti a valutare la sicurezza e l’efficacia del medicinale.
Anziani: Questo medicinale deve essere impiegato con cautela nei pazienti anziani in quanto maggiormente predisposti agli effetti indesiderati
Pazienti con insufficienza epatica o renale: Per l’utilizzo dei cerotti medicati di diclofenac in pazienti con insufficienza epatica o renale
Tagliare la busta lungo la linea tratteggiata e prelevare il cerotto. Per l’applicazione del cerotto:
Togliere uno dei due fogli protettivi.
Applicare sulla parte da trattare e togliere il foglio protettivo rimasto.
Esercitare una lieve pressione con il palmo della mano fino alla completa adesione alla cute. Il cerotto deve essere utilizzato intero.
Per la rimozione del cerotto:
Bagnare il cerotto con acqua e sollevare quindi un lembo tirando poi delicatamente.
Per eliminare gli eventuali residui del prodotto lavare la zona interessata con acqua eseguendo con le dita movimenti circolari.
