UniGel Apotex Home Wound Treatment Kit FIRST AID is a kit that allows for quick and efficient wound care at home. The package contains: UniGel Apotex 5 g, 3 pcs of Dermafoil foil dressings.
Action
UniGel Apotex is a unique, hydrophilic gel capable of binding oxygen free radicals. It ensures optimal pH values and humidity in the wound, thus supporting the healing process. In addition, it acts as a barrier to protect the wound from infection.
Dermafoil foil dressing is breathable but not absorbent. It is used to cover a wound previously applied with UniGel Apotex. To use it, tear off the protective paper attached to the back of the foil, place a dressing over the wound, and then remove the paper from the other, outer side of the foil. The foil dressing can be cut with scissors – the further procedure is the same as described above.
Indications
It is suitable for home use for treating not only chronic but especially acute wounds, for example:
abrasions
blisters
minor cut wounds
bites
lacerations
skin cracks
burns of I – II degree
lesions caused by herpes, etc.
The method of using the medical device
Rinse the wound under running water and dry it.
Apply UniGel Apotex over the entire wound surface and slightly beyond the wound area.
NOTE: apply a layer of UniGel Apotex up to 1 mm thick directly on the wound.
Cover the wound with a foil dressing. If the wound is smaller, the foil can be trimmed. If the wound is in an area that is not subject to accidental removal of UniGel Apotex (e.g. on the face), it is not necessary to cover it with a foil dressing.

UniGel Apotex to unikalny, hydrofilowy żel posiadający zdolność wiązania wolnych rodników tlenowych. Zapewnia optymalne wartości pH oraz wilgotność w ranie, wspomagając w ten sposób proces gojenia. Ponadto działa jako bariera zabezpieczająca ranę przed zakażeniem.
Opatrunek foliowy Dermafoil przepuszcza powietrze, ale nie jest chłonny. Służy do przykrycia rany, na którą wcześniej nałożono UniGel Apotex. Aby go zastosować, należy oderwać papier zabezpieczający, przyklejony do tylnej ścianki folii, umieścić opatrunek na ranie, a następnie zdjąć papier z drugiej, zewnętrznej strony folii. Opatrunek foliowy można przeciąć nożyczkami – dalszy sposób postępowania jest taki sam, jak opisano powyżej.
Wskazania
Jest odpowiedni do użytku domowego w celu opatrywania ran nie tylko przewlekłych, ale zwłaszcza ostrych, na przykład:
otarcia
pęcherze
drobne rany cięte
zajady
rany szarpane
pęknięcia skóry
oparzenia I – II stopnia
zmiany wywołane opryszczką itp.
Sposób użycia wyrobu medycznego
Ranę przemyć pod bieżącą wodą i osuszyć.
Nakładać UniGel Apotex na całą powierzchnię rany oraz nieco poza jej obręb.
UWAGA: nanieść warstwę UniGel Apotex o grubości maksymalnie 1 mm bezpośrednio na ranę.
Ranę przykryć opatrunkiem foliowym. Jeśli rana jest mniejsza, folię można przyciąć. Jeśli rana znajduje się w miejscu nie narażonym na przypadkowe usunięcie żelu UniGel Apotex (np. na twarzy), przykrywanie jej opatrunkiem foliowym nie jest konieczne.
