Serenoa repens – Saw Palmeto is a low creeping palm that is native to the southern states of North America – in the forests of Florida. Saw Palmeto supports peak urine flow and is important for maintaining normal bladder function, especially for men aged 45 and over. It has a beneficial effect on urinary tract health in benign prostatic hyperplasia. In addition, it is recommended as a source of fatty acids to maintain reproductive function and as a support for natural hair growth.
Other active ingredients – Cucurbita pepo – gourd and Pygeum africanun – African plum also contribute to the good function of the bladder and urinary tract. The gourd in particular affects the normal function of the prostate.
Added vitamin E acts to protect cells from oxidative stress.
Composition of 2 capsules: Serenoa repens (Saw palmeto – sabal palm, in extract 10: 1) 1,000 mg; Prunus africana (African plum, Pygeum, bark, in 10: 1 extract) 50 mg; Cucurbita pepo (gourd, seed, extract 10: 1) 20 mg; vitamin E (dl-alpha-tocolephyl acetate) 13.4 mg = 26.8 mg, i.e. 111.7% DDD; zinc (zinc gluconate) 1.56 mg (15.6% DDD)
Additives: lactose, silica (anti-caking agent), vegetable magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), gelatin capsules
