The Rhizomed thumb orthosis consists of an anatomically preformed dural plate that encircles the U-shaped wrist and which leads to the end thumb joint on the inside of the hand. The splint can be individually adjusted. The lightweight design allows the orthosis to be easily threaded on without having to open it completely. The orthosis immobilizes the thumb base and saddle joint.
