Terbilum is an antifungal medicine that is a cream for the skin.
The active substance is terbinafine hydrochloride.
1 g of cream contains 10 mg of terbinafine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: isopropyl myristate, polysorbate 60, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, sorbitan stearate, benzyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Terbilum should be applied to a thoroughly clean and dry skin surface. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected areas and their surroundings and rub it lightly into the skin. If the infected area is skin folds (e.g. between the fingers, under the armpit, under the breasts, between the buttocks, in the groin), the area where the cream has been applied may be covered with gauze. This is especially recommended at bedtime.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, the drug is used as described below.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: tinea pedis: once a day for 1 week, tinea pedis: once a day for 1 week, dermatitis: once a day for 1 week, tinea pedis: once a day for 1 week , Tinea versicolor: once daily for 2 weeks.
Improvement in clinical symptoms is usually achieved after a few days of treatment with Terbilum. The drug should be used for the entire recommended duration, as irregular use or premature discontinuation of treatment may cause the disease to come back.
Indications
Intended use:
athlete’s foot,
mycosis of skin folds,
mycosis of smooth skin,
skin yeast infection,
pityriasis versicolor.
Contraindications
Do not take Terbilum:
if you are allergic to terbinafine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Lek Terbilum jest lekiem przeciwgrzybiczym w postaci kremu do stosowania na skórę.
Substancją czynną leku jest terbinafiny chlorowodorek.
1 g kremu zawiera 10 mg terbinafiny chlorowodorku.
Pozostałe składniki to: izopropylu mirystynian, polisorbat 60, alkohol cetylowy, alkohol stearylowy, cetylu palmitynian, sorbitanu stearynian, alkohol benzylowy, sodu wodorotlenek, woda oczyszczona.
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta, lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Lek Terbilum należy stosować na dokładnie oczyszczoną i osuszoną powierzchnię skóry. Na miejsca chorobowo zmienione i ich okolice należy nanieść cienką warstwę kremu i lekko wetrzeć w skórę. W przypadku gdy zakażony obszar dotyczy fałdów skórnych (np. między palcami, pod pachą, pod piersiami, między pośladkami, w pachwinach), miejsce, na które naniesiono krem, można przykryć gazą. Jest to zalecane szczególnie przed snem.
O ile lekarz nie zaleci inaczej, lek stosuje się jak opisano poniżej.
Dorośli i dzieci w wieku powyżej 12 lat: grzybica stóp: raz na dobę przez 1 tydzień, grzybica fałdów skórnych: raz na dobę przez 1 tydzień, drożdżyca skóry: raz na dobę przez 1 tydzień, grzybica skóry gładkiej: raz na dobę przez 1 tydzień, łupież pstry: raz na dobę przez 2 tygodnie.
Poprawę objawów klinicznych uzyskuje się zazwyczaj już po kilku dniach stosowania leku Terbilum. Lek należy stosować przez cały zalecany czas, ponieważ stosowanie nieregularne lub przedwczesne przerwanie leczenia grozi nawrotem choroby.
Wskazania
Wskazania do stosowania:
grzybica stóp,
grzybica fałdów skórnych,
grzybica skóry gładkiej,
drożdżyca skóry,
łupież pstry.
Przeciwwskazania
Kiedy nie stosować leku Terbilum:
jeśli pacjent ma uczulenie na terbinafiny chlorowodorek lub którykolwiek z pozostałych składników tego leku.
