Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
If you have a slight iron deficiency, swallow 1 extended-release tablet whole with a little water before breakfast. In the case of severe iron deficiency, 1 prolonged-release tablet in the morning and in the evening about 1 hour before meals. After 3 weeks, the dose can be reduced to 1 prolonged-release tablet once a day.

The duration of the intake depends on the type and severity of the iron deficiency. To replenish the iron reserves, once the values have returned to normal, you should continue taking 1 prolonged-release tablet daily in the morning before breakfast for 1 to 3 months.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Nehmen Sie das Arzneimittel immer genau nach der Anweisung ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die ubliche Dosis:
Bei leichtem Eisenmangel 1 Retardtablette unzerkaut vor dem Fruhstuck mit etwas Wasser schlucken. Bei schwerem Eisenmangel jeweils 1 Retardtablette morgens und abends ca. 1 Stunde vor den Mahlzeiten. Nach 3 Wochen kann die Dosis auf 1 mal taglich 1 Retardtablette reduziert werden.

Die Dauer der Einnahme richtet sich nach der Art und Schwere des Eisenmangels. Zur Auffullung der Eisenreserven sollte nach Normalisierung der Werte die Einnahme von taglich 1 Retardtablette morgens vor dem Fruhstuck noch 1 – 3 Monate fortgesetzt werden.
Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung zu stark oder zu schwach ist.
