In the book “Silver Jet MiG-15”, the author Libor Režňák acquaints readers with the beginnings of jet flying in Czechoslovakia. The described period defined by the years 1950 – 1957 forms the first stage of this revolutionary development. The humble beginnings of the Me-262 loot are replaced by a description of the massive expansion of flight training of young pilots, filling the personnel void of Czechoslovakia. Air Force after the forced departure of experienced war pilots in the years 1948 – 1950. Flight training took place in a tense international political situation, when a new war conflict was expected by the public with almost 100 percent certainty.
Five school regiments trained hundreds of new pilots. Disasters and crashes of C-3, C-104, C-5 and especially S-199 in large numbers were a common part of aviation life. The description of individual events is supplemented by archival photo documentation. The vast majority of more than six hundred photographs are published for the first time.
Flight training every year from 1950 to 1957 is captured in great detail. There are diagrams of changes in the organizational structure of the Air Force, tables of pilots and aircraft, as well as a general summary of all serious aviation events. The book captures the beginning and gradual increase of aviation training in jet technology. The first steps of the Jak 23, MiG-15, MiG-17 and IL-28 types in the Czechoslovak sky were not easy.
The author of the previous and to the last piece of the dismantled title “Steel Stallion MiG-19” does not bore the reader this time either. He reveals the still veiled facts of the Czechoslovak post-war training, factually and with professional knowledge of the matter. air force.

V knize „Stribrny tryskac MiG-15“ autor Libor Reznak seznamuje ctenare se zacatky proudoveho letani v Ceskoslovensku. Popisovane obdobi vymezene roky 1950 – 1957 tvori prvni etapu tohoto prevratneho rozvoje. Skromne zacatky koristnich Me-262 strida popis mohutne expanze leteckeho vycviku mladych pilotu, vyplnujicich kadrovou prazdnotu cs. letectva po nucenem odchodu zkusenych valecnych letcu v letech 1948 – 1950. Letecky vycvik probihal v napjate mezinarodne politicke situaci, kdy novy valecny konflikt byl verejnosti ocekavan s temer stoprocentni jistotou.
Pet skolnich pluku cvicilo stovky novych pilotu. Katastrofy a havarie letounu C-3, C-104, C-5 a zejmena S-199 ve znacnych poctech patrily k bezne soucasti leteckeho zivota. Popis jednotlivych udalosti je doplnen archivni fotodokumentaci. Prevazna vetsina z vice jak sesti stech fotografii je zverejnena poprve.
Letecky vycvik kazdeho roku obdobi 1950 – 1957 je zachycen velmi podrobne. Nechybi schemata zmen organizacni struktury vojenskeho letectva, tabulky poctu pilotu a letecke techniky, ani celkova sumarizace vsech vaznych leteckych udalosti. Kniha zachycuje pocatek a postupny narust leteckeho vycviku na proudove technice. Prvni kroky typu Jak 23, MiG-15, MiG-17 a IL-28 na obloze CSR nepatrily k jednoduchym.
Autor predchazejiciho a do posledniho kusu rozebraneho titulu „Ocelovy hrebec MiG-19“ ani tentokrat ctenare nenudi. Vecne a s profesionalni znalosti veci odkryva stale zahalene skutecnosti povalecneho vycviku cs. vojenskeho letectva.
