Athlete’s foot is widespread and is one of the most common skin diseases. In Germany, around 20% of the population is affected by the contagious fungal disease, which usually begins with reddening and persistent itching between the toes. If an athlete’s foot is left untreated, it can easily spread to other parts of the body. One of the most common sequelae of untreated athlete’s foot is an infection with nail fungus. To combat the pathogens, active ingredients that can kill a wide variety of skin fungi have proven effective. Selergo 1% (pack size: 30 ml) contains the fungicidal ingredient ciclopirox olamine, which attacks fungal cells not only from the outside but also from the inside. This not only prevents the fungi from growing, but also reliably kills them. Selergo 1% (pack size: 30 ml) is ethanol-free and therefore particularly mild. Due to its good skin tolerance, the antimycotic is suitable for treating fungus in school children aged 6 and over.

Wird eine Fußpilzinfektion nicht behandelt, kann sie leicht auf andere Körperpartien übergreifen. Zu den häufigsten Folgeerscheinungen bei unbehandeltem Fußpilz gehört eine Infektion mit Nagelpilz. Zur Bekämpfung der Erreger haben sich Wirkstoffe bewährt, die verschiedenste Hautpilze abtöten können. Selergo 1% (Packungsgröße: 30 ml) enthält den pilzabtötenden Inhaltsstoff Ciclopirox-Olamin, der Pilzzellen nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen angreift. Aufgrund der guten Hautverträglichkeit ist das Antimykotikum für die Pilzbehandlung bei Schulkindern ab 6 Jahren geeignet.
