The Thirty Years’ War turned Europe upside down. The old continent came out of it a few million poorer people, but at the same time entered the era of “reason.” And it was this moment that definitively reversed the balance of power between Christianity and Islam. This was fully reflected in the clash of the Holy League, led by the Austrian Habsburgs, with the Ottoman Empire in 1683-1699. This great Turkish war ultimately averted the threat of expansive Islam, when the failed detention of Allah’s holy warriors in the Balkans turned into pushing them. First from Vienna, then from Buda and Pest to Belgrade. Self-reliant Christian reason began to dominate the belief in a god preached by an Arab businessman during his meditations in the desert near Mecca.

A prave tento moment definitivne zvratil pomer sil mezi krestanstvim a islamem. Plne se to projevilo ve stretu Svate ligy, vedene rakouskymi Habsburky, s osmanskou risi v letech 1683–1699. Tato velka turecka valka s konecnou platnosti odvratila hrozbu expanzivniho islamu, kdy neuspesne zadrzovani Allahovych svatych bojovniku na Balkanu preslo v jejich zatlacovani. Nejprve od Vidne, pak od Budy a Pesti az k Belehradu. Krestansky rozum, spolehajici se sam na sebe, zacal dominovat nad virou v boha, ktereho pri svych meditacich na pousti pobliz Mekky zvestoval jeden arabsky obchodnik.
