Proctofoam Hc Rectal Foam 1% + 1% Can, 24g

Rectal foam based on hydrocortisone acetate and pramoxine hydrochloride.

Therapeutic indications
Proctofoam Hc Rectal Foam is used in the treatment of pain and inflammation of the anal canal due to the presence of haemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, fissures, fissures, anal itching; after anorectal surgery.

Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods: in adults and the elderly the recommended dose is 2-3 applications per day (at most no more than 4) to be carried out after each evacuation.

Shake the can vigorously for 30 seconds before use
Pull out the plunger up to the mark (FILL)
Holding the plunger vertically downwards, insert the tip of the can into the applicator, keeping both firmly close together
Slightly press the applicator onto the tip of the can so that the foam can fill it 1/4 full.
Wait for the foam to stop expanding
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to make the foam expand to the line. Do another 2-4 small presses
For internal use: raise one leg (leaning on a chair or other), or lie down turned on the left side, hold the applicator as shown and insert it gently into the rectum. Then push the plunger down to the stop.
For external use: spray the foam on a paper towel or gauze and apply to the affected area.
Remember to wash the applicator and the plunger thoroughly after each application. It is not necessary to remove the tip of the can. The presence of gas pockets in the foam is normal

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Proctofoam Hc Schiuma Rettale si usa nel trattamento del dolore e dell’infiammazione del canale anale dovuti alla presenza di emorroidi, proctiti, criptiti, ragadi, fissure, prurito anale; dopo chirurgia ano-rettale.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità: negli adulti e negli anziani la dose consigliata è di 2-3 applicazioni al giorno (al massimo non più di 4) da effettuarsi dopo ogni evacuazione.

Agitare vigorosamente la bomboletta per 30 secondi prima dell’uso
Estrarre lo stantuffo fino alla tacca (FILL)
Tenendo lo stantuffo verticalmente rivolto verso il basso, inserire la punta della bomboletta nell’applicatore, mantenendo entrambi accostati saldamente
Premere lievemente l’applicatore sulla punta della bomboletta in modo che la schiuma possa riempirlo a 1/4.
Aspettare che la schiuma termini di espandersi
Ripetere gli steps 4 e 5 per far in modo che la schiuma si espanda fino alla linea. Fare altre 2-4 piccole pressioni
Per uso interno: alzare una gamba (appoggiandosi ad una sedia od altro), oppure sdraiarsi girati sul lato sinistro, tenere l’applicatore come illustrato e inserirlo dolcemente nel retto. Premere quindi lo stantuffo sino a fine corsa.
Per uso esterno: spruzzare la schiuma su un fazzoletto di carta o su una garza e applicare sulla zona affetta.
Ricordarsi di lavare accuratamente l’applicatore e lo stantuffo dopo ogni applicazione. Non è necessario togliere la punta della bomboletta. La presenza di sacche di gas nella schiuma è normale
