Paraffinum Liquidum – (liquid paraffin).
1 g of the liquid contains 1 g of liquid paraffin (Paraffinum liquidum).
Dosage

Orally 15-45 g (1-3 tablespoons) at night and in the morning on an empty stomach.
The effect occurs a few hours after application.
Action
When administered orally, the drug coats the intestinal wall with a thin layer, forms a suspension with the intestinal contents and facilitates its transfer to the lower parts of the digestive tract. It inhibits the absorption of water in the lower sections of the large intestine and softens the fecal masses.

Dawkowanie

Działanie
Lek podany doustnie pokrywa cienką warstwą ściany jelit, tworzy zawiesinę z treścią jelitową i ułatwia jej przesuwanie do niższych odcinków przewodu pokarmowego. Hamuje wchłanianie wody w dolnych odcinkach jelita grubego i rozmiękcza masy kałowe.
