Solaray Oregano is an oil extracted from oregano (Origanum vulgare), an aromatic Mediterranean plant traditionally used to strengthen digestive, respiratory and joint functions. Oregano oil contains in particular carvacrol, a phenolic compound known for its broad spectrum anti-infectious properties which make it a very effective anti-viral, antifungal, and antibacterial agent, used both externally and internally.
