Neosine forte – an antiviral medicinal product that increases the body’s resistance.
The active substance of the drug is inosine pranobex (Inosinum pranobexum): a complex containing inosine and 2-hydroxypropyl dimethylammonium 4-acetamidobenzoate in a molar ratio of 1: 3.
1 tablet contains 1000 mg of inosine pranobex.
Excipients: wheat starch, mannitol, povidone 30, magnesium stearate.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
The drug should be administered orally.
Adults including the elderly: The recommended dose is 50 mg per kg of body weight daily – usually 1 tablet 3 times a day.
Do not take more than 4 tablets a day.
Children over 1 year of age: the recommended dose is 50 mg per kg of body weight per day, given in several divided doses.
Treatment usually lasts from 4 to 14 days. It is recommended that after the symptoms disappear, the drug should be continued for 1 to 2 days.

Neosine forte is antiviral and increases the body’s resistance by stimulating the immune system.
Indications
Neosine forte is used as an adjunct in people with reduced immunity, in the case of recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract. For the treatment of cold sores on the lips and face caused by the herpes simplex virus (Herpes simplex).
Contraindications
Do not take Neosine forte:
if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include skin rash, itching, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue.
if you currently have a gout attack.

Przeciwwskazania
Kiedy nie przyjmować leku Neosine forte:
jeśli pacjent ma uczulenie na substancję czynną lub którykolwiek z pozostałych składników tego leku. Objawami reakcji alergicznej mogą być: wysypka skórna, świąd, trudności w oddychaniu, obrzęk twarzy, warg, gardła lub języka.
jeśli pacjent ma aktualnie napad dny moczanowej.
