Therapeutic indications
Mucosolvan Prolonged-release capsules are used in the treatment of secretion disorders in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary affections.
Dosage and posology
Mucosolvan Extended-Release Capsules should be taken in the following doses and modalities:
In adults, take 2 capsules a day, to be taken in the morning after breakfast for 8 days (attack therapy). Subsequently, the dosage will be reduced to 1 capsule per day, to be taken in the morning, until the end of the treatment.
The capsules should not be opened or chewed, but should be swallowed whole with plenty of water or other liquids. Mucosolvan capsules can be taken with or without meals.
Administrable to patients with diabetes. The possible presence in the faeces of the shells of the granules that carry the active ingredient has no meaning since they have already released the drug during the passage through the digestive system. The capsules should not be used in children. In acute respiratory conditions, seek medical attention if symptoms do not improve or worsen during treatment with Mucosolvan.

Dosaggio e posologia
Mucosolvan Capsule a rilascio prolungato deve essere assunto nelle seguenti dosi e modalità:
Negli adulti assumere 2 capsule al giorno, da assumersi al mattino dopo la colazione per 8 giorni (terapia d’attacco). Successivamente la posologia sarà ridotta ad 1 capsula al giorno, da assumersi al mattino, fino al termine del trattamento.
Le capsule non devono essere aperte o masticate, ma vanno deglutite intere con abbondante acqua o altri liquidi. Mucosolvan capsule può essere assunto indipendentemente dai pasti.
Somministrabile a pazienti con diabete. L’eventuale presenza nelle feci degli involucri dei granuli che veicolano il principio attivo non ha alcun significato poiché essi hanno già rilasciato il farmaco durante il passaggio attraverso il sistema digerente. Le capsule non devono essere impiegate nei bambini. Nelle affezioni respiratorie acute, rivolgersi al medico se i sintomi non migliorano o peggiorano durante il trattamento con Mucosolvan.
