Metafen Forte gel is a drug with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The gel contains ibuprofen and is intended for topical application to the skin, among others, in: back pain, neuralgia or pain in musculoskeletal diseases.
The active substance of the drug is ibuprofen (Ibuprofenum).
1 g of gel contains 100 mg of ibuprofen lysine.
Excipients: macrogol 200, trolamine, carbomer 980, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, bitter orange oil, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The gel should be applied topically to the skin, on the sore spot. During application, the drug should be gently rubbed in until Metafen Forte Gel is completely absorbed. Hands should be washed after applying the gel, unless they are the ones under treatment. If the symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks of using the drug, a doctor should be consulted.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: use 3 cm of gel during application. Dosing may be repeated after at least 4 hours, but not more than 3 times a day.

Metafen żel Forte to lek o działaniu przeciwbólowym i przeciwzapalnym. Żel zawiera ibuprofen i jest przeznaczony do stosowania miejscowego na skórę między innymi w: bólu pleców, nerwobólach czy bólu przy chorobach układu mięśnio-szkieletowgo.
Substancją czynną leku jest ibuprofen (Ibuprofenum).
1 g żelu zawiera 100 mg soli lizynowej ibuprofenu.
Substancje pomocnicze: makrogol 200, trolamina, karbomer 980, metylu parahydroksybenzoesan, propylu parahydroksybenzoesan, olejek z pomarańczy gorzkiej, woda oczyszczona.
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Żel należy stosować miejscowo na skórę, na bolące miejsce. Podczas aplikacji lek należy delikatnie wsmarować, aż Metafen żel Forte całkowicie wchłonie się.
