Pro dosazeni dlouhe doby toceni je dulezita kvalita kaci, zejmena jeji hrot, vyvazeni a povrch s nizkym aerodynamickym trenim. V modernim akrobatickem kacovani se pak rotujici kaca ovlada rukama prostrednictvim provazku (snury).
