Lavecan is an herbal medicine for the treatment of transient anxiety, containing lavender. Relieves the main symptoms of anxiety (internal tension and restlessness, constant worries, problems with concentration, sleep disorders, palpitations, muscle tension, headaches and back pain). Non-addictive. Non-sedating. Designed for adults and teens from 18 years of age.
Pharmaceutical form
Oval, blue-violet, opaque soft capsules.
Active substance, its amount
Each soft capsule contains: Active substance: Lavandula angustifolia Mill., Aetheroleum (lavender essential oil) 80 mg.
How to use
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is :
Adults: Take one soft capsule once a day at about the same time. Do not take Lavekan for more than 3 months. If symptoms persist after 1 month of treatment or if they worsen, consult your doctor. The soft capsules are taken unchewed with a sufficient amount of liquid (preferably a glass of water). Lavekan should not be used lying down.
Children and adolescents: Lavekan should not be used in people under 18 years of age.
What to watch out for
If you suffer from excessive anxiety and / or anxiety that is difficult to control, and / or three or more symptoms associated with anxiety (eg restlessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, muscle tension, sleep disorders), for a long time, consult Talk to your doctor because it may be because you suffer from a mental illness that requires medical supervision.
If you have the impression that the symptoms remain unchanged after 1 month of treatment or worsen while you are taking this medicine, talk to your doctor. The use of Lavekan is not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment requiring dialysis due to a lack of clinical data.
There are only limited data on the use of Lavekan in patients over 65 years of age.
