THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Fungal infections of the skin and its appendages caused by dermatophytes or Trichophyton (e.g. T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. warty, T. violaceum), Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum. Skin infections from yeast, mostly those borne by the genus Candida (eg C. albicans). Pityriasis (shingles) versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or to any of the excipients (see paragraph 6.1). As a rule, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
