Ibum, gel, 100 g

Ibum gel is a medicinal product that contains two active substances. Ibuprofen, belonging to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Levomenthol gives a feeling of coolness and also slightly anesthetizes. Ibum, the gel is used in the symptomatic treatment of mild forms of arthritis, sprains, sports injuries and neuralgia. The gel can be used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
The active substances of the drug are: ibuprofen, levomenthol (Ibuprofenum, Levomentholum).
1 g of gel contains 50 mg of ibuprofen and 30 mg of levomenthol.
Excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol 96%, polysorbate 20, carbomer EZ-2, aminomethylpropanol, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The drug is intended for topical application to the skin. The gel should be gently massaged until completely absorbed.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: up to 3 times a day, apply 5 cm to 12 cm of gel (the amount corresponds to approximately 50 mg to 125 mg of ibuprofen) to the painful area.
The gel should not be used more often than every 4 hours during the day and not longer than for 2 weeks, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Wash your hands after each use of Ibum, unless they are the affected area.

Ibum, żel jest produktem leczniczym, który zawiera dwie substancje czynne. Ibuprofen, należący do niesteroidowych leków przeciwzapalnych wykazuje działanie przeciwbólowe oraz przeciwzapalne. Lewomentol daje uczucie chłodu a także lekko znieczula. Ibum, żel stosuje się przy leczeniu objawowym lekkich postaci zapalenia stawów, skręceniach, urazach sportowych i nerwobólach. Żel można stosować u dorosłych oraz młodzieży powyżej 12 lat.
Substancjami czynnymi leku są: ibuprofen, lewomentol (Ibuprofenum, Levomentholum).

Substancje pomocnicze: glikol propylenowy, etanol 96%, polisorbat 20, karbomer EZ-2, aminometylopropanol, woda oczyszczona.
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Lek jest przeznaczony do stosowania miejscowego na skórę. Żel należy delikatnie wmasować aż do całkowitego wchłonięcia.
Dorośli i młodzież w wieku powyżej 12 lat: do 3 razy na dobę należy nakładać 5 cm do 12 cm żelu (ilość odpowiada około 50 mg do 125 mg ibuprofenu) na bolące miejsce.
Nie należy stosować żelu częściej niż co 4 godziny w ciągu doby i nie dłużej niż przez 2 tygodnie, o ile lekarz nie zaleci inaczej.
Po każdorazowym zastosowaniu leku Ibum, żel należy umyć ręce, chyba że to one są chorym miejscem.
