The preparation is an analgesic and fever lowering drug (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug / anti-inflammatory drug [NSAID]).
It is used for short-term symptomatic treatment
slight to moderate pain

Contraindications

The drug must not be used
if your child is hypersensitive (allergic) to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients.
if your child has had bronchospasm, asthma attacks, nasal swelling, angioedema or a rash after taking acetylsalicylic acid or any other pain and inflammation medicine (NSAID).
with unexplained blood formation disorders.
if you have or have had recurring stomach / duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding in the gastrointestinal area (at least two different episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding).
if your child has ever had bleeding or a perforation in the stomach or intestines while taking NSAIDs.
if you have a cerebral haemorrhage or other active bleeding.
if your child has severe liver or kidney problems or severe heart problems that are not adequately treated.
if your child has severe heart failure (heart failure).
severe dehydration (from vomiting, diarrhea or inadequate fluid intake).
during the last three months of pregnancy.
if your child weighs less than 10 kg (or is younger than 1 year), as this dose strength is not suitable due to the higher content of active substances.
