Iberogast is a herbal medicine for use in functional gastrointestinal disorders related to gastrointestinal motility (passage).
Iberis amara herbae extractum (bitter dressing herb extract) (1: 1.5-2.5) 15.0 ml
extractant – ethanol 50% (v / v)
Angelicae radicis extractum (angelica root extract) (1: 2.5-3.5) 10.0 ml
extractant – ethanol 30% (v / v)
Matricariae flos extractum (chamomile flower extract) (1: 2-4) 20.0 ml

Iberogast contains 29.5-32.6% (v / v) of ethanol.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, Iberogast is taken in a small amount of liquid before or during meals.
The recommended dose of Iberogast is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 3 times a day for 20 drops.
Children from 6 to 12 years of age: 15 drops 3 times a day.
Children under 6 years of age: use is not recommended.
Application time:
If symptoms persist after 7 days of using the drug, consult your doctor about their cause.
Shake well before use
The presence of sediment or cloudiness does not affect the effectiveness of the Iberogast fluid.
Action
Iberogast relieves the feeling of fullness, flatulence, reduces stomach and intestinal cramps. It has anti-inflammatory, carminative, antioxidant and antibacterial properties.

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Jeśli lekarz nie zaleci inaczej, Iberogast przyjmuje się w małej ilości płynu przed lub w czasie posiłków.
Zalecana dawka leku Iberogast to:
Dorośli i młodzież powyżej 12 lat: 3 razy dziennie po 20 kropli.
Dzieci od 6 do 12 lat: 3 razy dziennie po 15 kropli.
Dzieci poniżej 6 lat: nie zaleca sie stosowania.
Czas stosowania:
Jeśli po 7 dniach stosowania leku dolegliwości nie ustępują, należy zasięgnąć porady lekarza na temat ich przyczyny.
Wstrząsnąć przed użyciem
Obecność osadu czy zmętnienia nie wpływa na skuteczność płynu Iberogast.
Działanie
Iberogast łagodzi uczucie pełności, wzdęcia, osłabia skurcze żołądka i jelit. Wykazuje właściwości przeciwzapalne, wiatropędne, przeciwutleniające i przeciwbakteryjne.
Wskazania
Iberogast jest lekiem roślinnym do stosowania w czynnościowych zaburzeniach żołądkowo-jelitowych, związanych z motoryką (pasażem) przewodu pokarmowego, takich jak dyspepsja (niestrawność) czynnościowa czy zespół jelita nadwrażliwego. Zaburzenia te objawiają się głównie dolegliwościami skurczowymi jamy brzusznej i jelit, bólem brzucha, uczuciem pełności, wzdęciami, nudnościami i zgagą.
