To prevent calcium deficiency
Description
Calcium 500 mg HEXAL® must not be taken
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to calcium carbonate or any of the other ingredients of Calcium 500 mg HEXAL®
- if calcium concentrations in the blood or urine are too high
- with prolonged immobilization of limbs
- in the case of calcium-containing kidney stones or calcification of the kidney. Special care is required when taking Calcium 500 mg HEXAL®
- with impaired renal function
- with reduced phosphate concentration in the blood (hypophosphatemia).
Ask your doctor for advice if there is a family history of calcium-containing kidney stones.
