Hexal, Calcium 1000 mg, 2×100

Calcium 500 mg HEXAL® must not be taken

• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to calcium carbonate or any of the other ingredients of Calcium 500 mg HEXAL®
• if calcium concentrations in the blood or urine are too high
• with prolonged immobilization of limbs
• in the case of calcium-containing kidney stones or calcification of the kidney. Special care is required when taking Calcium 500 mg HEXAL®
• with impaired renal function
• with reduced phosphate concentration in the blood (hypophosphatemia).

Ask your doctor for advice if there is a family history of calcium-containing kidney stones.
