Gardan is an analgesic and antipyretic drug. Gardan is a medicine for severe pain.
The active substance of the drug is metamizol sodium (Metamizolum natricum).
1 tablet contains 500 mg of metamizole sodium.
Excipients: wheat starch, microcrystalline cellulose (type 101), povidone K25, talc, magnesium stearate.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The usual dose of Gardan in adults is:
250 mg – 500 mg 2 to 3 times a day. The tablet can be divided into equal halves.
a single dose should not exceed 1 g (2 tablets),
the maximum daily dose is 3 g (6 tablets),
Gardan should not be used for more than 3-5 days,
Use Gardan preferably after a meal and drink a sufficient amount of water
in people with impaired kidney or liver function, use half of the recommended doses for a short period.
