Folic acid, together with vitamin B12, is essential for red blood cell production and nucleic acid synthesis.

Folic acid is found mainly in leafy vegetables. Yeast and liver products are also good sources of animal products. However, cooking destroys up to 95% of it. Experts therefore recommend the use of folic acid in vitamin supplements, where the absorption into the body is up to 100%. The absorption of folic acid ingested in food is about 50%.

Product benefits
Folic acid increases folate levels in pregnant women. Low folate levels in pregnant women are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the developing fetus.
We recommend taking it about 3 months before the planned pregnancy, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Folic acid is also suitable for beneficial effects on the production and proper functioning of red blood cells, for people at increased risk of heart disease.

Product composition
Filler (calcium carbonate), emulsifier (microcrystalline cellulose), folic acid, stabilizer (croscarmellose sodium), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), stabilizer (hypromellose), polishing agent (polyvinyl alcohol).

Recommended dosage
1 tablet once a day, do not exceed the recommended daily dose
