Fenistil is an antiallergic medicinal product used to relieve itching and irritation accompanying rash. Fenistil is also used in the case of runny nose and tearing eyes, which accompany allergic rhinitis. Fenistil contains dimethindene maleate, which has an antihistamine effect, i.e. it inhibits the action of histamine, which is responsible for allergic reactions. Fenistil relieves itching and allergy symptoms, reduces swelling. The product is used in the symptomatic treatment of food and drug allergies, as well as: it alleviates itching associated with infectious diseases (e.g. smallpox).
